Web 2.0. CTA Workshop

Introduction
The workshop which was held at the ICT Resource centre of the University of Agriculture, Abeokuta  from 20th to 24th September, 2010, was very exhilarating, interactive and instructive. It was a great opportunity for participants from  Universities and  Government Agencies, to be exposed to the social media tools of networking, sharing and collaboration with people of common interests in the world.
                                                             
The workshop was made interesting by introducing all of us participants to the rudimentary internet activities like creation of e-mail address, sending of e-mails. The trainers taught at the pace of the slowest learner, in order to carry every one of us along.
Also, there was adequate supervision and monitoring of individual participant by the trainers to for compliance and corrections.
Trainers
The trainners had a verse and adequate knowledge of the web 2.0. tools. Also, they were good teachers, who taught and carried everybody along in their teaching. They were also gentle with every trainee.
Training Materials 
The training materials were adequately and sufficiently provided. These included the Web 2.0. I MARK software, 2.0G Flash disk with all lectures inside, a jotter, Pen, Calculator, Workshop bag, and most important the readily available Internet facility.
Feeding
In order to allow maximum concentration, meals were provide thrice everyday for all participants. These included drinks, bottle water, sachet water. And to keep the participants awake always, sweets, gums, and kola were provided.

Training Environment: The training environment and atmosphere were serene, and enhance learning. It was under an air  conditioner room.

In conclusion, the training was remarkable
